You Are Loved

I see you. I hear you. I feel you.

I see you hiding and holding back. I see you pushing through and carrying so much pain around. I see you wanting to give up when it gets hard. I see you continually trying to put one foot in front of the other. But you are feeling so less than, no matter how much you push, how much you do, how much you keep getting back up. I see that the things you carry in your heart are not light weight. They weigh you down, but you are standing today forcing a smile when on the inside you are crumbling.

I hear you. When you speak, I hear the lack of love you have for yourself. You are speaking words, but I am hearing “I am not good enough”. You are wanting to do something new, but you don’t know how it will work and I hear “I don’t have what it takes”. You have this amazing idea, but you got on social media and saw that someone is doing something similar, and I hear “I don’t measure up”. You are wanting to become healthy but you don’t think you can. I hear “I am not strong enough”. I hear you picking your body apart because of something someone said to you a long time ago and they ring loud in your ears every single day. I hear “I’m not pretty enough”. I hear you. The words in your heart and mind that you have taken as your truth.

I feel you. I feel your energy, your emotions, the pain that you are carrying. I feel you when you don’t say anything. I feel you when do speak. I feel you in your eyes. I feel you in your actions. I can feel you when you are holding some hard things in. I feel the burdens you are carrying. But through it all, you are trying your best to keep your head above the water when at times you want to stand in the middle of no where and scream, cry, and shout.

Sister, we won’t always share the same struggles or experiences, but I know what it feels like to want to be healed from something and be set free. I want you to know you are not alone. There is someone else that has faced some of the same things.

But feel God wants you to know TRUTH. The truth is that no matter what you have gone through, you are loved so much. I know those words get thrown around sometimes, but God loves you so much. He doesn’t see you as the lie that the enemy has put in your mind. So when you have believed that no one loves you, that does not mean that our TRUE father in heaven has left us and does not love us. When we make mistakes, He sees US. He sees YOU. Not your mistakes. He knows that we will make mistakes and will fall short, but when he looks our way, he sees Joy, light, beauty, a masterpiece, righteousness, and sees you so worthy.

He LOVES you and forgives you.

When we make mistakes in this world, PEOPLE will single us out, point out the thing we did wrong, hold it over us year in and year out, make us feel ashamed, unworthy, make us feel less than, make us feel that we will never measure up, and make us feel as though forgiveness doesn’t exist.

That is the enemy’s plan to keep you down so that you are not able to rise to the place God has planned for you.

DON’T FALL FOR THE SCHEMES. He is constantly scheming and searching for ways to keep us down and will literally use people close to us to attempt to destroy us.

But in His KINGDOM, those lies fall off and disappear. Jesus has set us free. We are not our mistakes and we are not the things that have happened to us.

You are Loved. So Loved.

One beautiful example of this love is found in John 8:3-11 (Chapter 8 verses 3 through 11) that reminds us that we all do stuff and should not point fingers, but should all look in the mirror and even so when we make a mistake, Jesus wants to wipe us clean so we can have a fresh start. Note that I am not condoning wrongdoing and sin, just that the truth is that its not beat over us and stamped to our foreheads. And when we know better, we are to do better.

He wants to comfort us, propel us forward, grow us, heal us, and most of all LOVE us.
